Jacky Ni

Clinical Psychologist

Jacky has completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, registered with AHPRA and is an active member of the QLD Branch of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jacky enjoys working with individuals of all ages. He has a particular interest in working with anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions and adjustments, and relational difficulties. Jacky is also interested in working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations.

Jacky adopts a warm and caring approach to his clinical work. His collaborative approach allows clients to feel empowered to make the changes they desire in their lives.

Jacky’s primary therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy (ST). Jacky has completed Level 1 and 2 training in Schema Therapy and is a Certified Level 1 Chairwork Therapist. He also brings in therapeutic strategies from Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy. Jacky currently splits his time between private practice and public sector mental health services.
