Psychologist
About Louise
Louise is fully registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a member of the APS (MAPS). Louise has studied the Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Queensland, obtaining an Honours in Psychology. Louise works with adults and the elderly. She believes in treating people with a wholistic mindset creating improvements in a person’s ability to improve their mental, emotional, and physical health.
Psychology
Louise takes a flexible, client-centred approach and is particularly passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties and low self-esteem. She helps clients build resilience and strengthen their inner and relational resources. She provides a safe, respectful and supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered and equipped with practical skills to create meaningful and lasting change.
Relationship Counselling
Louise offers compassionate, evidence-based relationship counselling to help couples, families and individuals strengthen connection, communication and understanding across all areas of life. Drawing on the Circle of Security framework and the Gottman Relationship Method, she supports clients to build secure attachments, improve communication, manage conflict, deepen emotional connection and foster trust, respect and mutual support. Louise works with couples at all stages of their relationship, including navigating conflict, rebuilding trust after infidelity, enhancing intimacy, developing shared goals and learning effective self-soothing and communication strategies. Her collaborative approach helps partners turn towards each other during challenges, increase shared understanding, and create healthy, resilient relationships grounded in love, empathy and lasting connection.
